Cookie Policy

What the Geoscope site stores on your device, what each item is for, and how you stay in control.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job: they let a site remember something between pages or visits.

We keep the use of these technologies to a minimum. Most of what the site stores is essential to sign you in and keep the service working.

2. What we use and why

Essential (always on)

These are needed to provide the service you ask for. They do not require consent.

Analytics (only if you accept)

If you choose to accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets nothing.

We turn on IP anonymization in Google Analytics. Google may process this data in the United States and other countries. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.

Services you use on the site

  • Payments. When you open checkout, we load the PayPal payment button from PayPal. PayPal may set its own cookies and receive information about your device. See PayPal's cookie statement.
  • Maps and imagery. Maps, aerial imagery and address lookups are loaded from map data providers such as OpenStreetMap, Esri, the USGS and FEMA. Your device sends them its IP address and the area you are viewing. We do not set cookies for these providers.
  • Demo video. Our demo video is hosted by us. It does not load any third-party player or cookies.

3. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics. You can accept, reject, or manage the setting. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.

You can change your mind at any time: . Switching analytics off removes the Google Analytics cookies we can reach.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage will stop sign-in from working.

5. More information

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights. Questions about cookies can go to support@geoscopesolutions.com.

6. Changes to this policy

If we add or change a cookie or similar technology, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change needs your consent, we will ask for it before using it.
